Katz said he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "warned the Iranian terrorist regime to stop firing rockets at the civilian population in Israel," the AP reported.
"Despite warnings, the missile launches continue, and therefore (Israeli military) attacks on Iran will escalate and expand to additional targets and areas that assist the regime in producing and using weapons against Israeli citizens," Katz said.
He stated that Iran would pay a high price for the "war crime".
