Dozens injured in Iranian attacks on UAE, Jordan and Kuwait

More than a dozen people were injured in Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan and Kuwait on Friday, amid the US-Israeli war on Iran. In Abu Dhabi, 12 people were injured by falling debris in the Ajman area. The injured included citizens of Nepal and India, the Abu Dhabi Media Office reported on the X platform.

Meanwhile, a gas plant in the emirate was shut down after debris fell on the Habshan gas plant site following an air defense strike, the city's media office said. The United Arab Emirates intercepted a total of 18 ballistic missiles, four cruise missiles and 47 drones on Friday, according to the armed forces.

The attack also hit energy facilities.

Jordan also reported injuries after the military shot down two missiles targeting sites inside the country, the state-run PETRA news agency reported. Two of the injured were in stable condition.

Emergency services have been deployed in Kuwait to ensure the continued operation of a desalination plant, according to a ministry statement. Iran attacked the plant and caused damage, according to the state news agency KUNA.

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia reported that drones had been shot down.
