After many ups and downs and an open conflict with the European Aquatics Federation (EA), it seems that Primorac will have to give in and play the Eurocup round of 16 match against Jug tonight at 7 pm in Podgorica.

As RTCG has learned, the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) did not rule in favor of the Kotor team, who requested to host the games at their "Zoran-Džimi Gopčević" swimming pool, but instead ordered that the matches be played in the capitals of Montenegro and Croatia.

The problem arose last season, when Jug did not want to honor the agreement in the Regional League that Croatian clubs would host Primorac at neutral pools, as part of the agreement that the Kotor team would not play at its own swimming pool.

Now the problem has arisen again, because the Croatian government has ordered its clubs not to play at the pool that bears the name of the Yugoslav water polo legend, but also the guard at the former "Morinj" camp.

Primorac demanded to play in Kotor, which is why the match originally scheduled for February 25th was postponed, but EA decided that Podgorica and Zagreb would host the matches.

The Montenegrin club submitted a request for mediation to CAS, then an appeal, but was unsuccessful. As a result, they will have to play tonight or face expulsion from European competitions…
