Dubai won convincingly 103:77 in the masterclass in Zenica and scheduled the final with Partizan.
The Blues were consistently behind by double digits from the second quarter onwards and the match was practically a one-way street.
"Everything was clear on the field. From the beginning we were not at the level, like we were in the second game, that cost us a connection or some hope. Dubai controlled the entire match and I congratulate them on the final," said Podgorica coach Andrej Žakelj after the game and added:
"We had a good season in the ABA League. We fought as hard as we could. We have to hold our heads high. The most important thing is our head, our character, we were a good team," the Slovenian expert pointed out.
Dubai still showed why it is a Euroleague team and the quality of the team from the Emirates came to the fore.
"At the beginning we kept the connection. But there was no aggression, no contact, no fouls. Dubai is two, three numbers bigger than us, they took advantage of their quality and deservedly celebrated," concluded Žakelj.
