Armand Duplantis once again pushed the boundaries in the pole vault, as he broke the world record for the 15th time in his career.

He jumped 6.31 meters tonight at a meeting in his native Sweden.

He improved his result from the World Championships in Tokyo in September last year by one centimeter.

Duplantis previously jumped 5.65 meters, then 5.90 and 6.08, all on his first attempt.

In the end, the height of 6.31 also fell, again on the first attempt. Duplantis has 130 victories, the last 50 of which he achieved in a row.

This is the second time Duplantis has broken the record in his country, having jumped 6.28 meters in Stockholm last year.

The Swede is a two-time Olympic champion (Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024), a six-time world champion, and a four-time European champion.
