The first step towards the semifinals of the ABA2 League has been taken, Sutjeska Elektroprivreda defeated Sloboda from Tuzla (96:94) in overtime last Wednesday in Nikšić and took a 1:0 lead in the quarterfinal series.

But nothing is over yet. The series is played to two wins, and the second game is tomorrow (20) in Tuzla.

On the wings of a victory in the first match, the team traveled to Tuzla, where they will try to achieve a second triumph and a place in the semifinals.

"I expected the first match to be difficult, that there would be nerves and emotions. The match was of exceptional quality, the people had something to see. Both we and they played a good match. We are going to Tuzla with a clear goal - to win. We are not going to change anything compared to the first match. We will see if they continue to shoot like that," said coach Marko Simonović in the match announcement.

The team is motivated, the victory in the previous match gave them a boost before the rematch in Tuzla.

"I want to thank all the people who came to the previous game. We won with a Filip Barović basket in the last second of overtime, which gives us additional motivation before the game in Tuzla. They are playing at home, the pressure is on them, they are losing 1:0. We have to make the best of it and finish the job in Tuzla," said Goran Gajović.
