Sutjeska basketball players welcome the TFT team from Skopje today in the first game of the ABA2 League semifinals.

The team from Nikšić eliminated Sloboda 2-0 in the quarterfinals, while TFT surprised Zlatibor in three matches.

"I think it will be a good series. We are playing against an extremely unpleasant and quality team, which has repeatedly shown that it knows how to play. They have excellent individual quality, they had big victories in the ABA2 league. This is the semi-final, no one is here by chance. Every team is quality and has something of its own that is recognizable," said Sutjeska coach Marko Simonović in the match announcement.

Simonović emphasizes that he believes in the team and hopes for great support from the stands.

"We need to go step by step, from game to game, and also in the game itself, step by step, attack by attack, defense by defense, to build a result. It won't be easy, but I believe in these guys, I believe in our system and game, which have adorned us throughout the season, that they can give us a good result in this series. I hope that the stands will be filled to the last seat. The guys, with their attitude, quality and the way they played and behaved throughout the season, deserve to have support. I think that's the least we can all do for them," said the coach of the Montenegrin team.

Sutjeska captain Filip Barović, the hero of the first match against Sloboda, says that he and his teammates will not underestimate their rival.

"We are playing in front of the home crowd. We are trying to prepare the game as well as possible and to record a victory. There are no teams to underestimate in the semi-finals, any team can qualify for the final. We will not underestimate them, we respect them, but we also have our own plan and program, which we will implement. I hope that will be enough for victory. I also invite the fans to come. It was great when we played against Sloboda at home and filled the hall. I hope there will be even more fans. They mean a lot to us. The last time we sent a nice picture to the public - it was a good game and a nice victory. I hope that the fans will help us achieve triumph," Barović emphasized.

The match at SC "Nikšić" is scheduled for 6 p.m.

In the second semi-final, Široki and Helios meet.
