The roster is missing Sofija Živaljević, a playmaker for Slovakia's Ružomberok, who will miss this action due to injury. The national team will gather on March 8 in Riga, where Ukraine is the formal host in these qualifiers, and the match will be played on March 11.
In the first qualifying window, Montenegro lost at home to Ukraine (71:65), and beat Azerbaijan (104:62) away and narrowly lost to Bulgaria (66:62), so they are currently third in Group E, behind Bulgaria (3-0) and Ukraine (2-1), and ahead of Azerbaijan (0-3). The two best teams from each group will advance to the next round of qualifiers, as well as the three best third-placed teams from a total of 7 groups.
After visiting Riga on March 11, Montenegro will host Azerbaijan (March 14) and Bulgaria (March 17) in Bar.
