He competed in the banked slalom discipline, category LL2.
After a weaker first run (1:23.78), Šibalić improved his time by four seconds and 71 hundredths of a second (1:19.07) in the second.
That's 24.79 seconds slower than the first-place Italian Emanuele Peratonero (54.28).
On the demanding course, the Italian snowboarder won ahead of Swiss Fabrice Van Groenigen and Australian Ben Tudop.
"The first time was a little slower, while in the second I stepped up the gas. I managed to finish both runs, but that's far from the top athletes who have been snowboarding for many years. I gave it my all, I hope that in the coming period I will work even harder and have stronger training," said Šibalić after the race.
He emphasized that the impressions, regardless of everything, were good and that he was satisfied.
"I did what I came here to do. I didn't fall, I finished both runs, I entered bravely, I showed that I have the right to compete in the Paralympic Games," said Šibalić.
He is the first athlete to compete under the flag of Montenegro at the Winter Paralympic Games.
The Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, which end on Sunday, brought together 612 athletes from 56 countries, who will compete in six sports and 79 disciplines.
