Savićević and Đurđevac congratulate Bosnia and Herzegovina on qualifying for the World Cup

The President and General Secretary of the Football Association of Montenegro, Dejan Savićević and Momir Đurđevac, sent a letter of congratulations to the President and General Secretary of the NFSBIH, Vico Zeljković and Adnan Džemidžić, on the occasion of their national team's qualification for the upcoming World Cup.

We are quoting the letter from Savićević and Đurđevac in its entirety:

"On behalf of the Football Association of Montenegro and on my own behalf, we would like to extend our most sincere congratulations on the extraordinary success of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, which, by defeating Italy, qualified for the final tournament of the World Cup, which will be held this summer in America, Canada and Mexico!"

Your success is an inspiration to all of us in the region and an indicator of how hard work and dedication can lead to great success on the international stage.

Let us remind you that BiH defeated Italy 4:1 (4:1) on penalties last night in Zenica and will play in Group B at the World Cup with Canada, Switzerland and Qatar.

The 2026 World Cup starts on June 11th, with the final on July 19th.
