Luka Radović, with nine goals from as many attempts, led Montenegro to a "break" in Vantaa and a victory over Finland (36:32) in the first match of the World Cup qualifiers.

The "Lions" led practically throughout the match, at several points having a five-goal lead, but they allowed their rival to come back in the first part of the second half, even turn things around, but the finish went to our team, who are awaiting the rematch (Sunday, 6pm at Bemax Arena) with a four-goal lead.

"We started the match very well and maintained the lead. In the second half, we started nervously, made some mistakes that gave our rival a chance to equalize and take the lead. In the last 10 minutes, we played good defense and gained an advantage before the second leg in which we don't need to calculate, but to play our best," said the winger from Nikšić.

The winner of this two-legged tie will play Slovenia in the play-off.
