With this triumph, Anastasios Kehajas' team secured a place in the final four of the regional competition, and in addition, home field advantage in the final of the domestic championship.
The team from Novi started furiously, taking a 3:0 lead, then a 4:1 lead, and could have even made it 5:2, but Srđan Janović missed a penalty (saved by Dimitrije Rističević) and it seemed to wake up the home team.
Primorac turned a 5:1 run into 6:5 after a goal by Đuro Radović in the opening minutes of the second quarter, and the Kotor team had a goal advantage even at the break (8:7).
Led by Yusuke Inaba and Balša Vučković, Primorac won the third quarter 7:3 and in the last eight minutes entered with a large and, as it turned out, unattainable five-goal lead – 15:10.

The reaction of the chosen one Vladimir Gojković was expected, but the opposite happened, the home team's difference only grew to the maximum and final plus eight.
The most efficient players for the winners were Marko Mrsic and Jusuke Inaba with four goals each. Đuro Radovic and Balsa Vučković each added one less. Dimitrije Rističević had 10 saves.
On the other side, Dmitrij Holod, Strahinja Gojković, Srđan Janović and Fran Valera stood out with two goals each. Danilo Stupar, Stefan Vraneš, Đorđe Lazić and Danil Merkulov scored once each. Ilija Radović made five saves.
