The Romans took the lead in the sixth minute – Kančelijeri reacted perfectly to a precise pass and beat Vanja Milinković-Savić with a low shot into the middle of the goal.
The question of the winner was practically resolved in the 57th minute, when Bašić picked up a rebound and with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area hit the right post for 2:0.
Even after this defeat, the team from Naples remained second in the standings with 66 points, 12 less than Inter and practically said goodbye to the title.
