Milan Vučetić shines at the "Top 16" cadet tournament

Po rezultatima i talentu najbollji mladi takmičar Stonoteniskog kluba Milan Vučetić nastavio je sa serijom odličnih rezultata u ovoj godini. Na kadetskom turniru "Top 16" za kadete, igrače do 15 godina u Podgorici minulog vikenda, gdje je od većine igrača mlađi godinu ili dvije, 12-ogodišnji Vučetić je osvojio prvo mjesto i zlatnu medalju.

Milan had 10 matches to reach the winning throne. In the first match, he defeated his clubmate Uroš Mrkajić (3:1), then Igor Mijović from Lovćen (3:0), and then Dimitrije Đukić (Spin) – 3:0, Kosta Babović (Budućnost) – 3:0, Jovan Milošević (Lovćen) -3:0, Arman Alibegović (Budućnost) – 3:0, Nikola Miković (Novi) – 3:1, Marko Medenica (Gorštak) – 3:0, Gavrilo Laušević (Budućnost) – 3:0 and in the final, his colleague from the Montenegrin national team Đorđe Mitrić (Spin) – 3:1. Thus, Vučetić lost only three sets in 30 sets at the tournament.

In this tournament, Novljan coach Branko Cubović had two more players – Uroš Mrkajić was fifth, and Nikola Miković was seventh.

Next weekend, the table tennis players of the Novi team, who are defending their title in Podgorica, will play the third round of the Super League for seniors. The youngest member of this team is Milan Vučetić, and it is expected that he will get a chance from coach Cubović in one of the matches in the fight for the ninth title of the Montenegrin champion.
