"Students" are visiting Zadar in the fourth round of the regional competition playoffs.
SC Derbi is second to last with a score of 5-15, Zadar is 15th in the table with a score of 7-12, as is FMP.
"After a tough game and an important victory over Ilirija, we returned to work and preparation for the match with Zadar. Injuries to important players are making our preparation more difficult. Zadar has been playing good basketball for years, with clearly divided roles in the team. The low-post play of Tišma and Mazalin, the scoring abilities of Vladimir Mihailović, as well as the play of centers who spread the game and shoot for three points, will be key challenges for our defense. On offense, we will try to reduce the number of turnovers compared to the previous few games," said Podgorica coach Petar Mijović in the match announcement.
This will be the ninth match between these two teams in the ABA league, SC Derbi leads 5-4, and the home team won the last two duels in Zadar.
"Away games in Zadar are never easy. They have an experienced team with several players who have been playing together for years. They have many options offensively, both from the outside and from the inside game, and we know where the biggest threats come from. We have to play the game with maximum concentration and great energy, and that's the only way we can hope for a victory," said SC Derbija basketball player Mateo Drežnjak.
The match at the "Jazine" hall is scheduled for 8 p.m.
