The iconic Roman stadium was filled to capacity as Lazio's most ardent fans from the north stand decided to end their boycott and support the team. However, according to Italian media, the ultras plan to resume their protest against club president Claudio Lotito after the international break, starting with the next match against Parma.

With this victory, Lazio reached 40 points and currently occupies ninth place in the table, 11 points behind city rival Roma, which is in the European competition zone.
Milan, on the other hand, failed to capitalize on Inter's blunder that resulted in a draw with Atalanta, and after tonight's defeat, they still trail their city rival by eight points.
The decisive moment came in the 26th minute. Marušić launched a brilliant long ball to Gustav Isaksen, who won a duel with Pervis Espupinjan and then routinely checkmated Majk Menjan.
The Montenegrin national team player played the entire match.
The Rossoneri were trying to avoid defeat, they had several solid chances, but the net of young goalkeeper Edoardo Mota remained untouched.
At the very end of the match, practically in the last seconds, Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri received a red card for a vociferous protest, apparently due to referee compensation.
Lazio will be away to Bologna in the next round, while Milan will host Torino.
