The volleyball team of Luka Bar defended their home court at the start of the semi-final series of the EPCG Super League playoffs – after more than two hours of play and an exciting match full of twists and turns, Vladimir Milačić's team defeated Buducnost 3:2 and took the first of two necessary steps towards reaching the final. The team from Podgorica will have the opportunity to equalize and win the championship in Bar on Wednesday at home.

The first three sets were decided in the finish, with identical results, the first went to the Baranci team, the second and third to the Podgorica team.

In the first, with the score tied at 22:22, Teodora Cavic won 23 points for Luka Bar, and then Dijana Vukovic blocked Diana Crnojački for the set point. The Barrancas did not use the first one because Cavic made a mistake on the serve, but it's on the other side Sofija Duletić sent the ball into the net from the serve and gave the "Sirens" a 1:0 lead.

The second set was uncertain until 18:18, Buducnost took the lead 20:18, Luka Bar halved the deficit (20:19), and then the Podgorica team went on a 3:0 run to 23:19, and then to three set points at 24:21. Luka Bar nullified the first two, and could have had a third, but Duletić made up for the mistake in the first set and blocked it Vukovic on the counterattack and brought her team a tie in sets.

The third set was also exciting, and was decided at 23:23, when Montenegrin carried out the first attack, and Duletić served with ace to give Buducnost a 2:1 lead.

However, Baranke did not give up, they dominated most of the fourth set, first until 17:12, but the Podgorica team then responded with a 5:0 run to tie the game (17:17). The run was interrupted by a service error Dusanka Petrovic, former volleyball player Luka Bar, which the Baran women took advantage of to get back on track, at 21:17 and there they definitely broke the set and won the tie-break.

With a 4:0 series, Luka Bar took a 6:2 lead in the deciding set, and then Vukovic with two consecutive ace serves for 11:4 she put an end to this match...

The best were the correctors of two teams – Dijana Vukovic in the team of Luka Bar with 26 points, and Dijana Crnojacki in the away team with 25.

The first match of the second semi-final tonight (8pm) will be played between Herceg Novi and Albatros.
