Poslije serije od šest pobjeda na svojoj "New Balance areni", Atalanta je morala da se zadovolji bodom protiv Udinezea (2:2). Ni toga, međutim, vjerovatno ne bi bilo da u igru nije ušao Nikola Krstović.

The Montenegrin national team player entered the 57th minute with the "Zebras" leading 0:2, but he started his team's game in attack and was most responsible for the draw, after Gianluca Scamacca's double.

The guests took the lead with a goal from Thomas Christensen in the 40th minute, and when Keenan Davis increased the lead in the 55th minute, Rafaele Paladino had to take a risk.

He took Lazar Samardžić out of the game and brought on Krstović, and playing with two strikers paid off, as the Italian international scored in the 75th and 79th minutes.

Skamaka scored the first goal after a cross from Nikola Zalevski, and the second also with a header, after Maddux Okoje made a great intervention to prevent the 25-year-old from Zeta from equalizing.

Krstović could have brought about a complete turnaround in the 84th minute, but Okoje made a great save on his shot after a double pass with Skamak.

Atalanta remain seventh in the Serie A table, five points behind and a game in hand over fourth-placed Roma. The Champions League is out of the question, but the focus of everyone's attention in Bergamo is on Tuesday night's match, when the Goddess hosts the famous Bayern Munich in the first leg of the round of 16 of the elite competition.
