The Montenegrin cadet football team will play against Italy tomorrow in the second round of Group B of the European U17 Championship in Estonia.

The "Falcons" were narrowly defeated by Denmark (2:1) at the start, while the "Azure" barely beat France.

"Every match is more demanding than the previous one. The selections are of high quality, so you can't allow yourself to be below your maximum. That's what we want," said Montenegro coach Radovan Kavaja, and returned the film to the previous duel:

"We analyzed the game against Denmark. We saw that we had too much respect for them, that we "turned on" late, but there were also moments when we did it right. We scored a goal, we came back against a great team, which is a great encouragement," Kavaja pointed out.

The coach believes in a positive outcome.

"This game against Italy must serve us to be at a slightly higher level, with the experience from the last game, I hope we will be competitive for victory," concluded Kavaja.

Last year, the "Falcons" defeated the "Azure" in the EURO qualifiers in Tallinn - 2:1.

"We gave our best. We fought from start to finish. Technical errors led us to an unwanted result. We have already proven before that we can compete with such great teams. Nothing is over, we still have two games to play. The full focus is on Italy. We know them well, we know their flaws, as well as what they do well. We have already beaten them here in Tallinn and I see no reason why we should not celebrate," said Montenegro's first team player, Nemanja Kljajević.

The match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
