The Montenegrin women's cadet handball team achieved a 30:29 victory in the first of two control matches against Serbia in Arilje as part of EHF Week.

For the generation of players led by coaches Miloš Perović and Bobana Krstović, the matches against Serbia are a good test before their appearance at the U18 Women's World Championship, which is scheduled to take place from July 29 to August 6 in Romania. Serbia is also one of the participants in the competition of the 32 best teams in the world in that age group.

Nejla Hodžić was the most efficient with eight goals, while Andrea Dragnić scored six. Ivana Savić scored five times.

This is a generation of players born in 2008 and younger, who won the bronze medal at the European Championship in Podgorica last year.
