The Montenegrin cadet football team will host the Norwegian national team in Bar today in the second round match of Group 3 of the elite round of EURO 2026 (U17) qualifiers.
Radovan Kavaja's team won the three-day prize, also in Bar, against Greece with a minimal result, while the Norwegians drew with Sweden (2:2) in the Scandinavian derby, with whom we will face off on Tuesday.
"We are entering the match in a positive atmosphere after the victory over Greece, but we are also fully aware that this match will also require a lot of concentration and discipline, with a clear feeling that whenever we get a chance, we must try to threaten our opponent. It is known that Norway plays intense football, with a lot of duels and running, and I hope that we will be ready to respond to those demands. We will look for our chance through the moments of the game that we are good at," said Kavaja in the match announcement.
The first-placed team from the group will qualify for the EURO in Estonia.
The match at "Topolica" is scheduled for 3 p.m.
