The tournament is played in Bar and Ulcinj, and only the first-place team in the group will qualify for the final tournament in Estonia.
The "Falcons" will play their first match today at 12:00 in Bar against Greece, while three days later they will meet Norway, and in the last round, on March 31, they will face Sweden.
"After a well-played qualifier in Estonia and a place in the elite round, we are eagerly awaiting the matches for the European Championship. The big problem is that we have not had the opportunity to gather and check our form with stronger teams. But, the good side is that most of the players are training with the senior teams and gaining experience that way. We also have problems with a few injured players, but we hope that together we will do everything we can to play a notable role in these qualifiers," said coach Radovan Kavaja.
The first challenge for our national team is the match against Greece.
"The first game will be an opportunity to use disciplined play and an aggressive approach to seek points that would be a great boost for the other matches in the group. We will try to maximize all our abilities and start this tournament at a good pace," added Kavaja.
