With two rounds to go, Jadran is in a great position to qualify for the final four of the Regional League - Vladimir Gojković's team defeated Šabac 13:10 (4:3, 2:0, 3:2, 4:5) in one of the two derbies of the weekend and tied with Primorac in 2nd place with 25 points.

Only Radnički secured a place in the final tournament with 31 points, the Boka Kotorska clubs each have 25, Novi Beograd 23, and Šabac 22.

The issue of the second participant could be resolved in the next round, when the biggest Montenegrin derby is played in the "Zoran-Džimi Gopčević" pool.

The team from Novi Sad took the lead with goals from Montenegrin national team players Strahinja Gojković and Vasilije Radović, and the "Čivija" team managed to equalize twice – 2:2 and 3:3.

After Nemanja Stanojević's goal with 40 seconds left in the first quarter, the guests did not score for over 14 minutes, so Jadran took a 7:3 lead and resolved all dilemmas.

The biggest difference was at two minutes and 22 seconds left, when Danil Merkulov took advantage of a man-up attack to make it 13:7. The visitors reduced the lead to 13:10 by the end, but they could not lose by a smaller margin than they had won at home (12:10).

Gojković and Merkulov were the most efficient in the home team with three goals each, Radović and Srđan Janović scored two each, Dmitrij Holod, Fran Valera and Matija Sladović scored one each, and Ilija Radović was excellent with 13 saves.

Stanojević led the visitors with six goals, while Montenegrin national team goalkeeper Darko Đurović stopped seven shots.
