In penalty roulette, in the first two series, Gjuvekis did not use the penalty box on one side, and Holod on the other. Then in the next three series, everyone was safe. And then Gjuvekis scored again, and Vajndberg saved the penalty from Valeri and it was all over.
Previously, as many as 12 goals were seen in the first quarter, and the score after eight minutes of play was 6:6.
The Greeks took a 2:0 lead, but Radović Novljani's goal made it 4:3. Jadran had a minimal advantage on two more occasions, before Kopelidis tied the score at 6:6 after the opening period.
