Ekitike tore his Achilles tendon

Liverpool footballer Hugo Ekitike has torn the Achilles tendon in his right leg and faces a long break and recovery.

Ekitike was injured in last night's match between Liverpool and PSG in the Champions League.

According to initial estimates, the French footballer will not be able to play for between six and nine months.

Ekitike has finished the season, but due to injury he will not be at the World Cup, which is being held this summer in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
