The great girls showed that they are the best during ten interesting weekends in the Development League, and Budućnost definitely proved that it is the flagship of women's football in Montenegro and that it is the foundation of all women's national teams in Montenegro, which record better results year after year.
In addition to the team award, the blue and white players also received two individual awards: Milica Vujašević was named the best goalkeeper, and Sofija Đurović was chosen as the most promising player.
And on the way to the title, each girl had her own role, so in addition to Milica and Sofija, the following football players are also responsible for the new championship trophy: Nikoleta Đokić, Ivana Raković, Petra Stojković, Monika Ramadanović, Anastasija Dedeić, Jelena Rajković, Lana Radošević, Anđela Bulatović and Nina Drobnjak.
„We are slowly coming to the end of a great football year for women's football in our club. After the seniors, the girls from the Development League won the title, but more importantly, they showed progress. I am proud of all of them, I am proud of my colleagues, the way we work and I believe that we will continue to progress in the future - both the first team and the younger categories", said the coordinator of women's football at the Podgorica club, Dušan Globarević, who is assisted in working with the girls by Marija Vuković, fitness coach Nikola Stanović and goalkeeping coach Aleksandar Raičković...
„From the younger categories, we try to introduce girls to serious work, so that they can adapt to professionalism as easily as possible when they reach the first team.", said Globarević, whose team achieved 21 wins and one loss in 22 games, and they had a serious opponent in the Berane Academy.
