The NSD has called on the Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro to investigate the responsibility of all those who participated in the development of this program, as well as the councilors who voted for its adoption. They believe that these councilors consciously made an illegal decision and believe that the competent authorities will determine possible criminal liability.
They say that wherever DPS takes control, they leave behind scandals, lawlessness and empty coffers. While the citizens of Budva pay the price for their incompetence and political arrogance, more than 20 million euros of transferred funds have been squandered, despite record revenues from January to May.
Today, the NSD Budva emphasizes, what we warned about has been officially confirmed — the Program was adopted illegally, and the Municipality of Budva and the members of the Municipal Assembly knowingly violated the laws of Montenegro.
"We thank the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, Minister Slaven Radunović, and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Milojko Spajić, for standing up for the Constitution and laws of Montenegro, and suspending the illegal decision on the Temporary Locations Program. We believe that they will continue to consistently implement the law and strengthen institutional accountability," concluded a statement from NSD Budva.
