The new tourist offer will connect nature, recreation and education, said the director of the Agency for Protected Areas Management. Dalibor Zecevic – with an emphasis on the development of the thematic route "Between Two Lakes - the path of mountains and legends" in the "Komovi" Nature Park.
"Through the signing of the memorandum, we will promote a thematic route that is one of the tourist offers of the Capital City, where we can guarantee new tourist potentials of the north of Podgorica," said Zečević.
The Tourist Organization expects new content for visitors, but also better international promotion of Podgorica as a destination for active holidays.
"TO is always here to help with projects like this and similar ones and to realize something together that will create a new tourism product. Also, promotion has begun and we are expecting journalists from Germany and other countries," he said. Director of the Municipal Administration of Podgorica Dragan Grnovic.
Educational activities are also planned as part of the project for all interested participants, added Zečević.
"We will hold a theoretical training session at KIC on Monday at 8 am, after which we will go to the location, as the thematic route says - Bukumirsko Lake - viewpoint," he said.
Authorities expect that the development of such routes will contribute to greater visitor numbers to the northern part of Podgorica, but also to the creation of recognizable tourist attractions.
