The European Commission today clarified the rather clear fact that Montenegro, as the only country with 13 closed chapters and on track to close all by the end of the year, is logically the most advanced candidate, announced Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević.

"I believe that yesterday's need by the media, politicians and analysts for distorted interpretations of EU officials will turn into an awareness of the objectively great success we have been achieving in the last two years and the one that is certainly ahead of us," Gorčević wrote on the X network.

She emphasized that EU membership would be a success for the entire Montenegrin society.
