A competition organized by the Capital City was held at the Youth Club, where young people presented innovative ideas for the development of Podgorica. The best ones will have a chance to be implemented.

The event "City of the Future - Your Idea, Our Realization", as it was emphasized, is not just a competition but also a space for the development of ideas, creativity and vision.

"Today, we are thinking together about what our city could look like tomorrow and what kind of future we want to build. We are particularly pleased that young people, that you are at the center of this process, your energy, innovation and courage to think differently are key to creating sustainable and smart solutions for the development of the city," said Ksenija Mrvaljević from the Youth Office of the Capital City.

The competition topics were urban planning, green spaces and public transportation.

"We expect very innovative and smart solutions that can contribute to our city becoming urban and with sustainable ecological solutions in these three areas," said Slađana Anđušić, Secretary of the Secretariat for Local Self-Government, to RTV Podgorica.

Anđušić adds that prizes await the competitors and believes that this will truly be a beautiful and productive day. He also believes that the Capital will provide many opportunities for young people in the future to truly celebrate and live up to the title of European Youth Capital.

The city administration says that they will organize other similar events where young people will be able to present creative ideas.
