A new children's playground with modern and safe facilities will soon be built on an area of about 160 square meters in Rogami. In addition to playground equipment, a rest area will be arranged, and this location will also be additionally greened.
"Seesaws, swings and swings will be installed, while, of course, for the slightly older generation, park furniture, or benches for resting, will be installed, all of this will certainly be accompanied by waste bins. In addition to the furniture, trees and low vegetation will also be planted at this location. So, some 12 adult tree seedlings will be planted, as well as some 300 pieces of hedgerow," said Vukčević.
The construction of the playground was initiated at the request of the locals, after this area had already been partially developed in previous years. The works are ongoing, and Zelenilo points out that the dynamics will also depend on weather conditions. In parallel with this project, Zelenilo also carries out numerous regular activities to maintain the city's green spaces.
"In this sense, mowing activities are now intensifying. In addition, of course, you have seen that flowers are in full bloom throughout the city. Of course, when the season of these winter flowers is over, we will also begin work on replacing the flowers, so that new seasonal, or summer, flowers will be planted. In addition, when it comes to investments, work is underway on the construction of a children's playground in Baston on Save Kovačević Boulevard, a green line, or walking corridor in the Tološa forest park. Work in Gornja Gorica on the Mikro 020 project has also been completed," Vukčević pointed out.
The city company Zelenilo says that in the coming period, it will continue to develop and improve green spaces throughout Podgorica, both through new projects and regular maintenance, to the satisfaction of all citizens.
