"A report was filed against Č.P. from Podgorica and the company "C….." doo from Podgorica for the continued criminal offense of constructing a facility without a report and the necessary documentation, in accordance with Article 326a of the Criminal Code of Montenegro. Also, a report was filed against VV from Herceg Novi on suspicion of abuse of official position (Article 416 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro). The suspects were deprived of their liberty on April 23, 2026 and brought for questioning by the competent state prosecutor on March 24. After the questioning, VV was not detained, while Č.P. was detained for up to 72 hours from the moment of deprivation of liberty," the Herceg Novi Public Prosecutor's Office announced.
