Court accepts bail for Đukanović: One million euros in cash and real estate worth over four million

The Basic Court in Nikšić has accepted the bail for the release of businessman Aco Đukanović, offered by his defense attorneys Slobodan Stašević, Nikola Martinović and Neda Ivović, confirmed in the explanation of the decision. This follows from the ruling that Portal TV Podgorica has had access to.

According to the decision of the panel chaired by Judge Mirko Kojović, the guarantee includes the payment of 1,000,000 euros in cash, which will be deposited in a court deposit. In addition, as an additional guarantee, a mortgage is envisaged to be registered in the real estate cadastre in favor of the state of Montenegro.

The mortgage relates to real estate owned by the guarantor, the total value of which exceeds four million euros.

The court assessed that the offered bail met the legal requirements and accepted it as such.
