Representatives of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro participated in a media networking event - IMM Paris

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro participated in the IMM Paris (International Media Marketplace) event, one of the leading global networking events connecting tourism destinations and the industry with editors, journalists, television reporters and content creators in the travel industry, which was held on March 11th of this year in Paris.

This event, organized by the TravMedia company, is celebrating its 14th edition this year and has already been recognized as an indispensable platform for connecting destination representatives with leading international media.

A central part of the program is pre-scheduled meetings between exhibitors and the media, which allow destinations to pitch ideas for reports, study tours and various media stories in one day. The event is also known for its exceptional opportunities for networking and building long-term relationships with key representatives of the tourism media.

One of the meetings was with the producer of the TV5 Monde show Destination Francophonie, Ivan Kabacoff, who pointed out that it is a show that reveals the beauty of different destinations through the stories of Francophone participants. The concept of the show is based on the fact that the potential of a particular destination is presented by people who speak French, in order to approach the target audience in an authentic way.

"I hope that next year we will have the opportunity to establish cooperation and film a show in Montenegro, because I would like to bring this country even closer to the French audience and TV5 Monde viewers," said Kabacoff.

Dušanka Pavićević, advisor to the director of the NTO of Montenegro, pointed out that participation in the IMM event was a good opportunity to connect with numerous media representatives from France and explore possibilities for cooperation in promoting Montenegro as an attractive tourist destination.

"Through direct meetings, we presented our country's tourism offer and discussed various forms of cooperation that would contribute to greater visibility of Montenegro on the French market," said Pavićević.

Joanna Golebiowska, Client Director for France, Monaco and Benelux, said that this participation in IMM Paris for NTO Montenegro represents an exceptional opportunity to strengthen relations with the French media and present Montenegro as one of the most exciting and authentic destinations in Europe.

“With its exceptional landscapes, rich culture and strong appeal for experience-based travel, Montenegro has great potential to inspire French travelers. In addition to the event itself, TravMedia also functions as a dynamic platform throughout the year

for networking that helps destinations build quality and long-term relationships with leading travel journalists," said Golebiowska.

By participating in the International Media Marketplace (IMM) Paris event, representatives of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro had the opportunity to meet and discuss cooperation opportunities with numerous representatives of French media, including TF1, TV5 Monde, GEO, Balades, Voyager Ici & Ailleurs, as well as other specialized travel and lifestyle media.
