Novi Sistem evidentiranja ulazaka/izlazaka (EES) počeće sa radom 12. oktobra 2025. godine. Evropske zemlje koje koriste EES uvodiće sistem postepeno na svojim spoljnim granicama. To znači da će se prikupljanje podataka postepeno uvoditi na graničnim prelazima, uz punu primjenu do 10. aprila 2026. Za potrebe EES, “državljanin koji nije iz EU” podrazumijeva putnika koji nema državljanstvo nijedne zemlje Evropske unije ili državljanstvo Islanda, Lihtenštajna, Norveške ili Švajcarske, prenosi euronews.
