A third shift has been introduced at the Tivat-Jaz Boulevard construction site. The organization of work in three shifts creates the conditions for intensifying the dynamics of the work, so that the project can be completed within the planned deadline, Ivana Vučinić, a spokesperson for the Traffic Administration, told us. Some locals have started to complain about the noise, but Vučinić notes that the work in the third shift will be adjusted and that only preparations for asphalting will be carried out. Branka Džoganović from the Association of Private Accommodation Providers points out that the completion of this important road section is a significant infrastructural step, but that how this process is managed in the public space is equally important.

In order to accelerate the construction of the Tivat-Jaz boulevard and complete it before the start of the summer tourist season, a third shift has been introduced at the construction site, said Ivana Vučinić, a representative of the Traffic Administration.

"As we have repeatedly announced, the main works on the Tivat-Jaz boulevard must be completed by the start of the summer tourist season. Organizing work in three shifts creates the conditions for intensifying the dynamics of the work, so that the project can be implemented within the planned deadlines and in order to be prepared for the increased traffic intensity during the summer tourist season," said Vučinić.

Considering that the works are being carried out in a busy road zone, Vučinić urges road users to be extra careful.

"To respect temporary signage and adjust their speed to road conditions and traffic patterns at the construction site," said Vučinić.

We received information that locals were complaining about noise during the night.

However, Vučinić told us that it was not late at night, but around 6–7 p.m.

The works will be adjusted so that the so-called reinforcement or earthworks, or preparations for asphalting, are carried out during the night, so that these works do not disturb the locals.

Branka Džoganović from the Association of Private Accommodation Providers points out that the completion of this section of the road is an important infrastructural step, but that it is equally important how this process is managed in the public space.

"That's why in this pre-season period I want to emphasize that it is important for communication to be timely, precise and responsible, both towards tourists and towards travel organizers. The narrative we follow in such topics directly influences guests' decisions on whether they will experience the destination as regulated and reliable or as risky and unpredictable," said Džoganović.

Therefore, she adds, the completion of the works has greater professional significance for the tourist season.

"Because it directly affects the accessibility of the destination, the flow of guests and the overall experience of the stay. As for the announcement of the completion of the works by the end of May, it is important to communicate what is certain, in order to avoid subsequent corrections of plans," she said.

It is important that there is good coordination of activities between all actors involved in these developments, concludes Džoganović.
