Na osnovu podataka Evropskog centra za kontrolu i prevenciju bolesti (ECDC) i Britanske agencije za zdravstvenu
bezbjednost (UKHSA), postoje nagovještaji da bi sezona gripa mogla početi ranije i da bi mogla biti većeg intenziteta.
Institut je, zbog navedenog, uputio dopise sa preporukama mjera i aktivnosti svim zdravstvenim ustanovama,
ustanovama za smještaj korisnika iz oblasti socijalne i dječje zaštite, kao i nadležnim institucijama, kako bi se što bolje
pripremili za sezonu grip, navodi se u izvještaju Instituta za javno zdravlje.
