The humanitarian campaign "Their Smile is Worth More", organized by the National Smile of Montenegro and the Union of Students of the Faculty of Economics, was successfully implemented for the 22nd time this year, providing support to the residents of the Mladost Children's Home through collecting donations and volunteering.

"The aim of the campaign is to provide support to the residents of the "Mladost" Children's Home in Bijela, through the collection of donations that directly meet their daily needs. The campaign collects products such as clothing and footwear, school supplies, personal hygiene products, some bedding, pillows, as well as other necessary items," the statement said.

The special value of this initiative is reflected in the fact that donations are not monetary, but are based on the personal engagement of donors.

"In this way, each individual who participates has the opportunity to contribute to the creation of a warmer and more humane community through their effort and attention, bringing a personal touch to each gift," they add.

An invitation is currently open for a spring gathering with the home's residents, which will be the finale of the campaign.

"Applications are open until April 23rd, and on that day, volunteers will deliver the collected donations and spend time with children through joint activities, games and socializing, which further strengthens the sense of community and support," the organizers said.

The statement emphasizes that this humanitarian action survives thanks to the great enthusiasm of the organizational team, but also to the continuous support of the community, volunteers and partners who have contributed to its successful implementation for more than two decades. Every year, as they state, more than 400 volunteers actively participate in the organization and implementation of the action, while the support network expands to over 1,000 friends, partners and donors.

In the end, they say that "Their Smile is Worth More" is not just a humanitarian action, but a reminder of the importance of solidarity, empathy, and togetherness.

"Through small gestures of care, together we create big changes and bring joy to those who need it most," they said in a statement.

The organizers invite all interested parties to join and contribute to this noble mission.
