The director of RTV Podgorica, Vladimir Otašević, filed a police report tonight due to, as he claims, threats made to him by a Podgorica resident, DK.

As Otašević stated in the report, the person reported is a close relative of businessman and convicted cigarette smuggler Srećko Kestner, who has been mentioned for years in the famous "tobacco affair" case.

According to a report filed with the police in Podgorica, the incident occurred on March 7, after 10 p.m., near the Clock Tower, where Otašević lives.

He told the police, accompanied by his lawyer Nikola Angelovski, that after parking his vehicle, he was heading towards his apartment when, as he claims, DK approached him and said: "Watch out for the car, watch out for the car."

Otašević states that he understood these words as a threat.

In his report, he also stated that in the previous days he had noticed an unknown person who, while he was sitting in the "Pikado" bar on the south stand of the stadium under Gorica, was watching him from a vehicle parked nearby.

Otašević also told the police that in recent years he had been engaged in journalistic research on cigarette smuggling in Montenegro, and that he had mentioned Srećko Kestner in his articles.

He also stated that, in his opinion, these situations began to occur after police officers and inspectors searched the houses and apartments of Aco Đukanović, brother of former President Milo Đukanović.

In his complaint, Otašević also stated that Ana Pešukić, who had been an educator at Aco Đukanović's home for several years, was a guest on the media outlet he heads, Kontroverza, by author Mladen Stojović. In the aforementioned show, she provided details related to the events that, according to her, took place at Đukanović's home.

The director of RTV Podgorica asked the police to take measures to protect him and his family, stating that he feels disturbed by the aforementioned events and fears for his safety.

According to information from the RTCG Portal, the hearings of the actors in this event are planned for tomorrow morning at nine o'clock at the Podgorica prosecutor's office.

Also, Otašević has in the meantime filed another report with the police in Podgorica, this time against doctor Vladimir Peruničić, due to, as he claims, insults sent via the social network Instagram.

In his report, he stated that his colleague Magdalena Čelanović forwarded him a "screenshot" of messages that, as he claims, Peruničić sent via Instagram.

According to the complaint, Peruničić mentioned Otašević in his messages as the director of RTV Podgorica and made a series of offensive comments about him.

Otašević provided the police with screenshots of those messages as evidence.

The report states that the messages were sent on March 6 in the evening, and that they, among other things, mention Otašević's health condition and make insults against him.

Otašević asked the police to take measures within their jurisdiction and prosecute Peruničić for, as he claims, insults and violations of his personal and professional integrity.

In his complaint, he stated that he believed that such messages damaged his reputation as the director of RTV Podgorica, but also as a citizen.
