This kind of case probably only exists in Montenegrin handball – before the last round, two teams are in the race for the title, Lovćen and Budvanska rivijera, separated by only a point, and they will play their matches not only at different times, but on two different days.

No one doubts that the players in both duels will play in the spirit of fair play, but this situation pretty much "kills" the charm of the competition and the excitement that such finals bring.

Lovćen has 31 points heading into the final round and tonight at 7 pm they will host Rudar, whom they recently defeated in the Cup final (34:27).

Only a victory is enough for Cetinje, as they are worse off than Budvanska Riviera in their head-to-head record, which is hoping for a sensation in the capital so that it can have a chance to leapfrog Lovćen and win its third Montenegrin championship title tomorrow at 6 pm on its home field against Sutjeska.

Sutjeska is responsible for the fact that Budva kept their chances of being first until the last round, as they defeated Lovćen 34:31 in the last round.

Today, in addition to the duel in Cetinje, there will also be a match in Bar - Mornar 7 will welcome Budućnost Podgorica at 6 pm.

TABLE: Lovćen 31, B. Riviera 30, Sutjeska 17, Budućnost 17, Rudar 11, Mornar 8 points.
