There are only six rounds left until the end of the 2025/26 competition year, every weekend is a story in itself and every team is fighting for something, so the maximum on the field should be the minimum for the "blues" in order to secure a place on the Euro stage.
Sunday brings the 31st round, and tomorrow, Budućnost will host Dečić in Tuzi in one of the derbies - the match at the Besa Arena starts at 2:00 PM.
“Igramo protiv direktnog konkurenta za Evropu, a nakon dva vezana poraza želimo pozitivan rezultat”, jasan je kapiten Milan Mijatović, koji je najiskusniji u timu “plavih”…
"We have to show and demonstrate great commitment and desire, that must not be questioned. I think the game will be decided by nuances, because the derbies with Dečić are mostly tough this season, and the plus is the importance of the game is huge for both us and them. That's why we have to be aware that details are crucial," the former national team goalkeeper is clear.
Buducnost is in fifth place and is five points away from Dečić, who is in third place (leading to Europe directly), while Petrovac is in fourth place (leading to Europe if one of the top three teams from the championship wins the Cup), who is four points away.
"Dečić has quality players in all lines of the team, but I think they are strongest in the offensive. After all, that quality keeps them non-stop at the top of the table and they are close to the final of the Montenegrin Cup. However, we play for Buducnost and our obligation is to go for victory, especially because we are in a situation where we need a triumph if we want to keep our connection to the place that leads to Europe."
After victories over Petrovac and Jezera, the "blue and white" lost to Sutjeska and Arsenal - and they need to forget that as soon as possible.
"We need to change our approach compared to the last two games, where we weren't aggressive enough, first of all, and then everything else. Against Petrovac and Jezera we had an attitude, we were aggressive, we had a lot of good things and with such a game we can believe in a positive result in Tuzi. But I repeat, the details can be decisive and that's why we have to be maximally focused."
The "Blues" play one of the last small six finals tomorrow...
"Every game will be a story in itself, especially for us who are in the situation we are in and because of our form. However, I believe that we can rise from the current situation and eventually, by going to Europe, we can "make" the season," said Milan Mijatović.
