According to data published by the Median Institute, a research agency, Peter Magyar's Tisa party won 55.5% of the vote, while Viktor Orban's Fidesz is predicted to win 37.9%.

The right-wing Our Homeland (Mi Hazánk) movement is estimated to win 3.9% of the vote (below the 5% threshold). When converted into seats, this means that Tisza is close to a two-thirds majority in parliament, with an estimated 131–139 seats, while Fidesz would win between 59 and 67 seats. The Hungarian parliament has a total of 199 seats.

These data were not obtained through a classic exit poll, but rather represent an estimate of the mandate based on a large-sample survey conducted over the past three days. Polling stations for voting in the parliamentary elections in Hungary closed at 7:00 p.m., and by 6:30 p.m., a record 77.8 percent of eligible voters had voted.
