"The conference is organized in cooperation with the South East Europe Corporate Security Association (SEECSA), with the institutional support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro, the Police Academy, the Civil Aviation Agency, the Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Control (SMATSA) and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and is held under the patronage of the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović," the statement said.
This event represents a central regional meeting place in the field of security, bringing together more than 250 experts from Montenegro and the region, as well as participants from France, the Netherlands, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.
"The presence of high-ranking representatives of diplomatic missions from partner countries - the United States, France, Turkey, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia - gives the conference special significance, confirming its international character and broader strategic reach," they said in a statement.
This year, Montenegro takes on the role of chairing the Corporate Security Association of Southeast Europe for the first time, which further confirms the importance and position of this conference in the regional context.
During the two-day program, panel discussions, expert presentations, and thematic roundtables dedicated to key issues of modern security will be held, including corporate and cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, regulatory framework, as well as the application of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in security risk management.
The conference will also organize a Security Forum of Regional Airports, as a platform for exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation in the field of civil aviation security.
A special focus of this year's edition is on strengthening capacities in the field of modern security technologies, cybersecurity and the development of corporate security culture, as well as improving cooperation between the public and private sectors in order to more effectively respond to modern security challenges.
The President of the Association of Security Managers of Montenegro, Dragan Radulović, said that the conference has special significance for improving cooperation in the field of security at the national and regional levels.
"Modern security challenges require a coordinated and joint response. This conference brings together relevant stakeholders from the public and private sectors with the aim of exchanging knowledge, improving cooperation and strengthening capacities for effective management of security risks," Radulović emphasized.
The Association of Security Managers of Montenegro is a representative professional organization that brings together legal and natural persons from the field of security in the public and private sectors, with the aim of developing and improving corporate security and security risk management. The association currently brings together 70 legal and 98 natural persons.
