"Acting on a court order, police officers searched the apartment and other premises used by PJ and AP, who are members of an organized crime group. On that occasion, police officers found and seized three PVC packages containing a white powdery substance resembling cocaine, as well as four electronic devices for further checks. The state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office was informed of the incident, and he ordered that, after additional analysis, the case files be submitted to him for evaluation and opinion," the police said.
They add that during the search of GB, a family member of one of the members of the organized crime group – VP, 60 buprenorphine tablets, 28 xalol tablets, 30 xanax tablets, 27 tablets of unknown composition (blue), 28 lagos tablets, as well as one bottle with an unknown white liquid were found and seized. The state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was also informed of the above, who ordered that after the completion of official measures and actions, the case files be submitted for assessment and opinion.
"During a search of SB, a family member of the aforementioned OKG – VP member, two grinders with remains of green plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana were found. During the criminal investigation, MB, also a family member, told police officers that the aforementioned items belonged to him, and police officers, after conducting appropriate expert assessments, will file a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against him in accordance with Article 52 of the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse," the police said.
Police officers continue to strongly, decisively and continuously dismantle and neutralize the activities of organized crime groups, with a primary focus on high-risk members of these OCGs and persons of operational interest.
