The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, will attend today's session of the Parliament of Montenegro, where he will explain the proposals he previously sent to the Parliament. This was announced by Milatović's Cabinet.



It is, as stated, about the proposal for the election of a member of the Fiscal Council of Montenegro and the proposal for the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms.

"We remind you that on March 7, 2025, President Milatović proposed Stevan Gajević as a member of the Fiscal Council of Montenegro, while on December 4, 2025, he proposed Siniša Bjeković as the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms.

In his speech, President Milatović will point out the importance of strengthening institutions that ensure fiscal responsibility, transparency and effective protection of human rights and freedoms, as the foundation of citizens' trust in the state and its democratic order," the announcement states.
