"In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the interlocutors expressed mutual readiness to further improve relations and intensify cooperation between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, concrete steps were defined towards strengthening cooperation in several areas, including exchange between educational and academic institutions, improving cultural cooperation, as well as connecting in the health and tourism sectors," the Parliament said.
Special emphasis was placed on the development of economic cooperation, with the assessment that there is significant space for strengthening economic ties. The importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation as the foundation of overall relations between the two friendly states was also emphasized.
"Deputy President Nurković thanked the delegation for the visit and stressed full readiness to actively work towards the implementation of the agreed activities. The delegation of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton from Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed satisfaction with the meeting, announcing a return visit and the continuation of joint activities, with the aim of further strengthening cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries," the Parliament of Montenegro concluded in a statement.
