Mujović pointed out that the Day Care Center represents one of the most important institutions in the Capital City, emphasizing the importance of the work of professional staff and the dedication they show in caring for children and youth with developmental disabilities.
"I would like to express my sincere respect for all employees who work with children and youth with developmental disabilities, as well as my gratitude to the director Olga Rovčanin for her dedicated work and contribution, together with the expert team, to the users of this center. As you know, numerous infrastructure projects are being implemented in Podgorica, but if I were to single out one project that has special significance from a human perspective, it would be the construction of a new center for children and youth with developmental disabilities. We are well on our way to achieving this goal, because the conceptual design is currently being developed, we are expecting the main design soon, and we hope that the works will begin by the end of the year,"
said Mujović.
He emphasizes that this is the facility and project that I am most looking forward to, and when you come to an institution like this and visit this place, it becomes clear to you why my desire is so great.
Director of the Day Care Center, Olga Rovcanin, she pointed out that the city administration continuously provides support to this institution.
"Today's visit represents significant support for our professional team and employees. With Mayor Mujović and his associates, we discussed important topics and ongoing projects, including expanding the capacities of the existing center, as well as plans for the development of services for people over 27 years of age, which currently do not exist in Podgorica," said Rovčanin, adding that marking the anniversary is not only a reminder of the results achieved so far, but also an incentive for further development of services and improvement of the quality of life of children and youth with disabilities and developmental difficulties in Podgorica.
"We have ten years of dedicated work, understanding and dedication to creating better conditions for children and their families, and we will continue in that direction in the future," said Rovčanin.
