They add that in the same period, traffic police officers, as part of repressive activities, filed 265 misdemeanor reports and issued 2,328 misdemeanor warrants. 36 pairs of license plates were temporarily seized, and the same number of vehicles were removed from traffic.
81 drivers were deprived of their liberty, as follows:
· 35 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol in a concentration greater than 1 g/kg or for refusing a breathalyzer test;
· 24 drivers for driving under the influence of narcotics or other psychoactive substances, or for refusing to take a test;
· 22 drivers for committing other serious violations under the Road Traffic Safety Act and the Criminal Code.
"Of the total number of people deprived of their liberty, the most are in Podgorica - 23 drivers, then nine in Bijelo Polje, six in Nikšić, while five drivers were each deprived of their liberty in Bar, Budva and Ulcinj. One person from Podgorica was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing a criminal offense of serious offenses against the safety of public traffic, in connection with the criminal offense of endangering public traffic," the police concluded.
