The ABA League, whose close collaborator Avdić was for years through commentary and media work, also made a statement regarding his sudden death.

"The ABA League received with great sadness the news of the sudden death of beloved commentator and basketball personality Edin Avdić.
Edin's passion for basketball was evident in everything he did. Through his insightful commentary, engaging media work, and as the host of the ABA Talks podcast, he helped bring basketball closer to fans across the region and left an indelible mark on the sport.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and all whose lives he touched. His voice, passion and love for basketball will be greatly missed, and his legacy will remain a lasting and treasured part of the ABA League community.”
