Janik Siner successfully launched his campaign for Roland Garros, the only Grand Slam he is missing.

Siner routinely "jumped" over domestic tennis player Klemen Tabur, ranked 171st on the ATP list, with a maximum score of 3:0 - 6:1, 6:3, 6:4 in just over two hours of tennis.

Janik thus recorded his 30th consecutive victory.

The Italian broke his rival's serve three times in the first set, while in the second and third sets he only had to break once.

In the next round, Siner will face Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundol, who eliminated Jacob Fearnley 3-0.

The South Tyrolean was seeded first, and was defeated in an epic final by Carlos Alcaraz last year. The Spaniard is not defending his title in the City of Light, having withdrawn due to injury.
